How To Setup Call Blocking Features

Call Blocking Feature #1

The easiest method is to "Enable" a system wide Call Blocking option that will terminate all inbound Calls and only allow for Calls from Telephone numbers listed in the Users Contact List. This option is set by ensuring that the second Menu item from the top is set to "Dsable Blking". Select the Status Button to view the current setting's for Blocking and Logging features. See Note 1 below.

Call Blocking Feature #2

This feature requires that "Call Blocking" (Feature #1) be set to "Enable Blking". This implies that Feature # 1 is Disabled.

With Feature #1 Disabled, all incoming Calls (Telephone Numbers) are now checked against the Telephone Numbers that may be stored in the Block Number Database. Any Number found in the Database will be terminated.

Call Blocking Feature #3

This feature requires that "Call Blocking" (Feature #1) be set to "Enable Blking". This implies that Feature # 1 is Disabled.

With Feature #1 Disabled, all incoming Call Area Code's are now checked against the Area Code Database. Any Number found in the Database will be terminated if the Area Code is "Enabled". "Disabled" Area Codes will not be terminated.

Area Code checking may also be "Enabled" or "Disabled" as desired by clicking on the "Enable / Disable" Button located just below the "Area Code" Button. See Note 1 below.

Note 1: This Button serves a dual purpose by switching between an "Enable" and "Disable" status.
The Option showing is the feature that is to be implemented while the converse option is the feature that is active.
